Head of IT & Innovation

Minimum requirements:

• B.IT degree or equivalent relevant qualification
• Minimum 5 years' experience in IT management
• Experience managing hybrid Google Workspace and Microsoft environments
• Proven experience in network design, infrastructure, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of servers, cloud services, backups, cybersecurity and data protection
• Experience with CCTV systems, IP cameras, NVRs and alarm/security systems
• Knowledge of school administration systems such as EduPac, SA-SAMS and d6
• Experience managing IT hardware, devices, software and service providers
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills
• A keen interest in educational technology, AI and innovation

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management and development of the school's IT environment and will play a leading role in driving technology and innovation across the school.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the school's new Coding, Robotics and IT Centre, overseeing it's day-to-day operations, continued development and integration into the school's educational programme.

Google and/or Microsoft certifications advantageous.
